All you need is a Golden McDonald’s Card, which is valid for life. Bill Gates is its owner, but you don’t have to have a fortune (or found Microsoft) to get it. Anyone can do it. How to get a McDonald’s Gold Card? We are here to help.
The Golden McDonald’s Card — free food at McD for the rest of your life
The Golden McDonald’s Card, or the McGold Card as it is originally known, was for a long time only granted to VIPs and celebrities. This is how the aforementioned Bill Gates came into its possession. However, the famous fast food chain has decided not to limit itself so much and to make it available to everyone. Everyone who will do some good deed. Or, to be more precise, become a local superhero. Ronald McDonald himself does not award the Golden McDonald Card — it can be awarded by any franchisee of the restaurant, which simply means the owner of a particular unit.
To become a local superhero (and thus earn the McDonald’s Golden Card) you have to do something good. You have no idea? Let’s take as an inspiration an American Charles Ramsey from Ohio, whose meal in the chain’s restaurant was interrupted by… an attempted kidnapping. Without hesitation, the man dropped his sandwich in half a bite and rushed to the aid of three women whom unknown perpetrators tried to abduct. Fortunately, all ended well. And doubly well for Ramsey, who was rewarded with a lifetime invitation to McDonald’s — for free, of course. Another way to get a card? Try turning 100 years old. Using this method, the Golden McCard ended up in the hands of another American woman, Nadine Baum. What else can you do? We do not know, but we encourage you to try. A little bit of luck will go a long way — even if it is just luck in misfortune.
