In the world, orientations other than hetero are seen as strange or undeserving of tolerance. This needs to change. The public must be made aware that we are all equal, regardless of orientation or skin color or background.

Pansexuality was and still is a taboo subject. Also in show business. Only when Janelle Monáe said out loud that she is queer and identifies as a pansexual person did the topic resonate a little more. So we answer the question of what is pansexuality. And which celebrities besides Janelle identify as pansexual.

Pansexuality — what is it?

Pansexuality is a sexual orientation in which one feels attracted (sexually and/or romantically, emotionally) to a person regardless of their gender or gender identity. This means, therefore, that it does not matter to a pansexual person whether the person to whom he or she feels attracted is a man, a woman, a transgender person or, for example, a non-binary person.

Cara Delevingne, the model and actress known for “Paper Towns,” opened up about her gender identity to Variety magazine.

“I think I will always be pansexual already,” she said in an interview. — “It doesn’t matter what pronouns someone uses, whether it’s “they,” “he” or “she,” I fall in love with a man — and that’s it. I feel attracted to a man”.

Cara did not accept her orientation at first because of her family’s views. Later, however, she set her sights on her happiness. She dated, among others, actress Michelle Rodriguez and Ashley Benson, known from the series “Sweet Little Lies.” The couple separated after two years of relationship.

The Australian singer has never literally spoken out about her sexuality.

However, she always said she “would date guys, girls and everyone in between”.

“I don’t care what gender you are, it all depends on the person. I’ve always been… I would use the word that flexible,” she commented.

Miley Cyrus has spoken out about her orientation in an interview with Variety.

“When I realized what my orientation was, I went to an LGBTQ center in Los Angeles and started listening to different stories”, the singer said. —”I saw a person who identified as neither male nor female. Looking at her, I saw that she was both beautiful and sexy, tough but sensitive, feminine but masculine. I identified with this person more than with anyone else,” she said. Miley further added that she already knows why she feels neither heterosexual nor homosexual. “Because I am not them,” she stated.

Miley dated actor Liam Hemsworth for a very long time. The couple met in 2009 and got married in 2019. Just a few months later, the singer and the actor separated.
